According to the relevant provisions of the "Administrative Measures for the Recognition of High-Tech Enterprises" (Guokefahuo [2016] No. 32) and the "Guidelines for the Management of High-Tech Enterprise Recognition" (Guokefahuo [2016] No. 195), after enterprise applications and recognition organized by the Office of the Leading Group for the Administration of High-Tech Enterprise Recognition in Guangdong Province, and with approval and filing obtained from the Office of the National Leading Group for the Administration of High-Tech Enterprise Recognition, Guangzhou Dexu New Materials Co., Ltd. and 7,474 other enterprises have been recognized as Guangdong Province's 2016 High-Tech Enterprises (the public announcement notice and list are attached). These enterprises are entitled to the preferential income tax policies applicable to high-tech enterprises from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2018.
A High-Tech Enterprise is a resident enterprise registered for more than one year within the territory of China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), which continuously engages in research and development as well as the transformation of technological achievements in key high-tech fields supported by the state, forms its own core independent intellectual property rights, and conducts production and business operations based on these capabilities.
