On December 21, 2018, the 2018 Annual Meeting of the Guangdong Lubricating Oil Industry Association was successfully held at the Westin Hotel of Canton Fair. Under the theme of "Gathering, Consulting, and Co-creating", we reviewed the present achievements and planned for future development.

This was a joyful gathering of the lubricant industry! Over 300 industry elites and company executives from across the country came together to discuss resource integration, explore opportunities for joint growth, and strive for win-win cooperation.

The event commenced with an opening speech delivered by President Wang Xiaolong. In his address, President Wang expressed his hope that this annual meeting would promote communication and cooperation among enterprises. He emphasized the importance of the association serving as a platform for companies to move from unfamiliarity to familiarity, and ultimately toward mutual benefit and win-win development. He wished all participants a productive and rewarding experience at this year’s annual meeting.

This year’s annual meeting focused on key themes such as "innovation," "practical action," "development," and "standardization." It invited numerous industry leaders and technical experts to deliver insightful and inspiring speeches. Their valuable industry experience and rich practical knowledge turned each presentation into a rare treasure, greatly benefiting every audience member.

Mr. Pan Chuanyi, Secretary-General of the Guangdong Lubricating Oil Industry Association, delivered a speech titled “Review of the Association's Work in 2018.”

In 2018, our association successfully organized a wide range of events in cities such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhaoqing, Maoming, Zhuhai, Dongguan, Shanghai, and even Singapore. These activities covered various areas, including:

Investment inspections for industrial parks,Technical seminars on grease, specialty lubricants, metalworking fluids, automotive oils, and additives,Entrepreneur networking events,Job fairs,Group exhibitions,Training sessions on drafting group standards, Industry research and investigations,Visits to state-owned enterprises (central government enterprises), and more.

Through these efforts, the association has continuously expanded its influence, attracted new members, and grown our big family, making it stronger and more vibrant.

Mr. Wang Xiaolong, President of the Guangdong Lubricating Oil Industry Association, delivered a speech titled “The Association's Work Plan for 2019.”

He summarized the association’s key plans for next year using a framework from "One" to "Ten":

One high-end, environmentally-friendly lubricant materials industrial park;Two thematic technical seminars;Three international exchange events;Four major annual awards;Five or more member companies jointly participating in exhibitions as a group;Six or more group standards to be released;Seven industry conferences to be co-organized;Eight provincial lubricating oil associations to engage in exchanges;Nine core services;Ten key functions of the association.

The gathering and consultation at this annual meeting aim to jointly create a bright future for all members of the Guangdong Lubricating Oil Industry Association. In an era full of both opportunities and challenges, we firmly believe that as long as we unite, work together, and follow the leadership of the association's executive team, we will surely open up a new chapter in the lubricant industry!
