The Guangdong Lubricating Oil Industry Association (GDLIA), initiated by Guangdong University of Technology together with enterprises, institutions, experts, and scholars from the lubricating oil industry in Guangdong on the principles of equality and voluntariness, was officially established in August 2017, after being registered and filed with the Guangdong Provincial Administration Bureau for Social Organizations.
In his speech, Founding President Mr. Wang Xiaolong pointed out that traditional industry associations are usually driven mainly by the president and secretariat. However, the Guangdong Lubricating Oil Industry Association will be organized according to the characteristics of Guangdong — dividing into regional zones and establishing branches and specialized committees based on industry segments. Like a bullet train, each carriage has its own power unit, working together in synchronization to drive forward. To this end, the association has designated five regional vice presidents and established nine specialized committees, such as those focused on automotive oils, industrial oils, metalworking fluids, additives, and base oils.
To better serve member enterprises, GDLIA has also set up centers for training, promotion, information, business intelligence, and government-enterprise coordination.
“The establishment of the Guangdong Lubricating Oil Industry Association has benefited from favorable timing, geographical advantage, and strong human resources. It will play an important role in mutual support, expanding business opportunities, and solving industry challenges,” said President Wang.
At the inaugural meeting, Guangzhou Zhiqianzhong Market Information Consulting Co., Ltd. was appointed as the executive director unit of Guangdong Lubricant Industry Association, and General Manager Zhou Yimin was elected as the director of the association's publicity and promotion center. As a leading diversified media operation platform in China's lubricant industry, Guangzhou Zhiqianzhong Market Information Consulting Co., Ltd. has five major media advantages: the boutique professional journal "Lubricant Information" magazine; two mainstream industry portals "China Lubricant Network (www.chinalubricant.com) " and "Lubricant Information Network (www.lube-info.com) "; two WeChat official accounts "Lubricant Information (lube-info) " and "China Lubricant Network (chinalubricant) ". In the future, it will give full play to the resource advantages of diversified media platforms, actively undertake the functions of publicity and promotion entrusted by the association, provide professional brand promotion services for the majority of lubricating oil enterprises, and promote information exchange and enterprise interaction in the entire industry. translate into English
